chatSCID
Come connect face-to-face through a moderated Zoom meetup. It is a wonderful way to ask questions, share your experience, and connect with other families who truly understand your journey.

SCID Patients and family members are welcome

chatSCID is a live, moderated, interactive support workshop created to provide both emotional and practical support for SCID patients and their families. Hosted monthly by the SCID Foundation and supported by a charitable grant from Chiesi Global Rare Diseases, chatSCID offers a space for meaningful connection and guidance.

This virtual support group serves as a safe, welcoming environment to explore a wide range of topics—everything from the initial “Shock of Diagnosis” to learning “Teaching your child to be his or her own advocate.” Participants are encouraged to share openly, ask questions, and connect with others who truly understand the challenges of living with SCID.

Newly diagnosed families – Connect with others and ask questions.
“Veteran” families – Share your story and support others.

chatSCID is completely free to attend, reflecting our commitment to making support accessible to every family in the SCID community—because no one should face this journey alone.

chatSCID welcomes newly diagnosed families as well as our “veteran” families who enjoy sharing their story or giving emotional support to others.

See our Eventbrite page to register and Follow us on Facebook to see announcements regarding registration and topics.
